Oil paintings, crayon etchings, charcoal drawings and monoprints give a sense of the range of my work in visual art. A more complete inventory would fill dozens of pages.

My daily studio practice includes drawing as well as painting. Texture and color being slowly reconciled to an overall integration. The work I do with collage and printmaking is occasional. 

Northwest atmospheres, landscapes with inner leanings, images drawn from dreams, and contemplations on environmental issues often get me started. Once underway, color itself becomes the driving force, and later, texture as a finish.
